Today we watched "Marley & Me" again, and I cried like a baby. Yep, I was pretty much bawling. Dog movies tend to have that effect on me, even animated ones like "The Fox and the Hound". After "My Dog Skip" I'm an absolute mess.
They always make me think of my dogs and all of life's milestones we've been through together. I miss them, yes, even the slightly neurotic one.
"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water-logged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if you're rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?" - Marley & Me
This pic is ancient, but definitely one of my favs.
Oh, what I would give to spend a Sunday afternoon like this...
