10 Things I learned in Denmark…

1. Denmark is cold, very cold. Brrrrrrrrr!

2. Lego is Danish, not Swedish. Don’t get that confused!

3. Danish lamps are incredible. Check these out!

4. Blue Tooth was the name of a Danish viking who the technology is named after. Interesting, huh?

5. Frozen waterways are stunning. I was captivated.

6. You know those stale jelly-filled pastries on the continental breakfast of pretty much every hotel chain in America? The things we call danishes? They are an insult to the word. Real Danish danishes are AMAZING.

7. Danish X-factor is THE show to watch on Friday night. And you just might see some of the contestants playing in the busy shopping streets the next day.

8. Bicycles are everywhere, and the bikers are serious. Don’t get in their way!

9. Pickled fish and mashed liver are acceptable sandwich spreads. The fish is pretty delicious, especially the curry kind. I still haven't made up my mind about the mashed meat.

10. Fairytale castles do exist :)
