I want to share with you a little testimony from English class last Friday. Once a week, the students are responsible to lead our worship and prayer time for the school and one student usually shares a little devotion in English. Since most of my class is made up of pastors and missionaries, this is a challenge which they really enjoy. Usually the more advanced students lead the devotion, but today Marko, a Tanzanian and one of the beginners, chose to lead it. He preached an incredibly moving message on 2 Kings 7:3-7, about stepping out in faith – all in English! The entire class was inspired by Marko’s message because they have seen this to be true in his own life. Through his diligence in studying and his courage to trust God and try even if he failed, he has gone from speaking no English at all to preaching an entire sermon in English! I was moved to tears listening to him share about what God can do when we just step out and trust Him. Marko is a living example of that!
